Terms and Conditions

FUEL
Vehicles may be delivered with fuel and the Client / Renter refills the same on return or pays for used fuel on off hiring of the vehicle.

INSURANCE
Vehicles are on Comprehensive and Third Party Insurance and the Client /Renter is responsible for damage to the vehicles caused by negligence or road conditions or accidents. Comprehensive Insurance is available on request and the cost is born by the Client/ Renter.

QUALIFICATION TO DRIVE AND SELF DRIVING
The Client / Renter / Customer and authorized driver must be in possession of valid unendorsed Driving License with more than three years of driving experience and must be above 18 years. It is wholly the responsibility of the one driving to take care of the vehicle and keep it safe.

ACCIDENT
If the course that a vehicle is involved in an accident and going for maintenance, the Renter / Hirer will be charged MWK25, 000.00 or above per day according to the type of the vehicle for loose of business.

TERMS OF PAYMENT
A minimum deposit will be paid before taking the vehicle depending on the type of vehicle being hired by cash or bank certified cheque. Deposit can be waived at management’s discretion or upon the hirer’s presentation of surety. The deposit amount may be based on an estimated rental cost and will be refunded at the termination of the contract if it exceeds the actual invoiced value. All bills must be paid within 30 days from date of invoice and a penalty of 15% will be charged for late payment after every 10 days on gross amount due.

CHAUFFER CHARGES
Night Allowance per night MK22, 000.00 Chauffer fee per day MK6, 000.00 Overtime per hour MK1, 500.00

VEHICLE RETURN POLICY
Vehicle hired in Lilongwe are to be dropped in Lilongwe at the place of picking unless special arrangements are made for it to be dropped at a different place. Therefore, if it is a sudden change of program and the vehicle will not be dropped where it was picked, a charge to it will be made.

BREAKDOWNS
In the event of breakdown, call on Mobile: +265 984 884 858. If the breakdown is due to Renter/Hirer negligence a charge will be made for recovery and rectifying the problem.

EXTRA INFORMATION / INSTRUCTIONS
Minimum rentals charge is ONE (1) day. Vehicles are not supposed to cross the borders of Malawi without a written consent of the Company. The hirer is required to use the vehicle within Malawi, but whenever he/she want to use it across the borders, should inform the Company, and bear all the costs of processing all relevant documents. Tampered speedometer attract a minimum charge of 3000kms per day in addition to the existing ones Rates may change without notice. Delivery after 8:00pm (20:00hrs) attract an additional charge. If any extension or rental is required a minimum of 4 hrs notice is to be given for better scheduling of vehicles to clients.
